Moari is a musicshop located in Ubud-Bali. It offers a
large collection of musical instruments, ranging from Traditional
Indonesian gamelaninstruments, traditional bambooinstruments, many
kinds of drums, small percussion from all over the world, flutes,
instruments for meditation to musical toys. Besides musical instruments, Moari also offers a collection of CDs of traditional Indonesian music as well as Indonesian based worldmusic, some videos on Indonesian culture and instrumentbags. Most of the instruments are produced in Indonesia and made from natural materials of good quality. The owners are musicians and value good quality instruments, carefully selecting the products sold at Moari. One of the owners, Arif Hendrasto, is the founder of the worldmusicgroup Planet Bamboo. Many of the type of instruments sold in the shop can be heard on each of his two CDs "Spirit of the Rhythm" and "Flowing with the Rhythm". | ||
